Townshippers’ Festival 2019 – Call for Exhibitors, Vendors & Sponsors
COWANSVILLE, July 2, 2019 – The organizing team is already enthusiastically planning the 2019 edition of Townshippers’ Festival, the 39th annual celebration of the English-speaking community of the historical Eastern Townships, to be held in Cowansville on Saturday, September 21. The organizing committee invites individuals and organizations to participate as exhibitors, entertainers, vendors, sponsors, and supporters, in this key community event focused on showcasing the creativity, heritage, and vitality of the Eastern Townships’ English-speaking community.
Since 1979, this bilingual, family-friendly festival has brought together the region’s English-speaking and French-speaking communities through music and dance, arts and crafts, activities and food. Organized through a partnership between Townshippers’ Association, the Eastern Townships School Board, and the CIUSSS de l'Estrie – CHUS, this year’s event will be held at Massey-Vanier High School, 224 rue Mercier, Cowansville.
Exhibitors & Entertainment
Attracting nearly 2,000 visitors last year, Townshippers’ Festival provides a valuable opportunity for artisans to showcase local products, and for companies, organizations, and institutions to inform the community of their services or activities.
Spaces will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis to artisans, food vendors, community/non-profit organizations, businesses, government agencies, educational institutions, and history and heritage groups. Registration forms for entertainers are due by July 31, 2019, and the deadline to submit registration forms and payment for a kiosk is August 15, 2019.
Sponsors & Silent Auction Donations
As Townshippers’ Festival is a non-profit event, it relies on the generous support of sponsors and donors. A number of support opportunities designed to meet all budgets are available, providing a cost-effective means to promote your products and services to the large number of attendees. Financial support is recognized leading up to and following the festival.
In-kind donations and items for the ever-popular Silent Auction are also welcome and appreciated. Donations of new items are featured on the festival website before and after the event. To donate an item, the completed Silent Auction Donation Form must be submitted by August 15, 2019, and the item(s) should be dropped off by September 20.
