Lennoxville United Church – Administrative Assistant Job Posting

Position Details:
• 4 days per week (Tuesday to Friday)
• 8:30am – Noon (stable) / 1pm – 3pm (built in *Flex Time)
• Starting date: as soon as possible
Job Summary:
The role of the church Administrative Assistant is to work in close association with the minister and the Chair of Council in performing autonomously, the administrative and secretarial work required in the operations of Lennoxville United Church. This person will be the pivotal contact person for inquiries concerning Pastoral support, use/rental of the church for an event, ensuring that the day-to-day communication is up to date for all concerned, and to perform the tasks as outlined in the job description.
Qualifications:
• DEP or AEP in secretarial or office management, DEC in office management, or academic training combined with relevant experience
• Knowledge and/or experience of a church mission
• Ability to read and communicate in French
• Computer knowledge in all Microsoft software applications
