Grace Village is a non-profit organization committed to providing essential nursing care for seniors from the anglophone community of the Eastern Townships, many of whom have experienced a loss of autonomy. Responsibilities:
The Buildings & Grounds Manager is responsible for the general upkeep and preventive maintenance of the physical building, ventilation, heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing and grounds. The candidate will be responsible for the planning, oversight, and execution of such tasks. The B&G Manager would supervise and direct a small team, determine when temporary help is required and coordinate with external vendors and professionals.

Requirements:
• Experience and accreditation in one or more of the following: maintenance, plumbing, electrical, construction heating & cooling systems,
• Experience working in a senior living environment or hospital,
• Minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience, preferably in the maintenance of buildings,
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing,
• English advanced level oral and written communication; French intermediate-to-advanced oral communication,
• The ability to prioritize and manage requests, direct subordinates, and interface with vendors.
• Computer skills; MS Office suite including Word and Excel,
• Good organizational and administrative skills.
