TOWNSHIPPERS’ AND COVID-19, UPDATE #3 FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS

The situation continues to evolve in the Province of Quebec and the Estrie region and in order to respect measures aimed at limiting the presence of COVID-19 in the wider community, the Association’s offices remain closed until further notice. All community activities organized by Townshippers’ Association remain postponed until further notice. Please contact Association staff via email; please do not leave a phone message. Staff email addresses can be found here https://townshippers.org/the-team/

We will keep you informed as more information becomes available via this page. In the meantime, remember the following:

  • Wash your hands often with warm running water and soap for at least 20 seconds.

° If you do not have access to soap and water, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.

  • Cover coughs and sneezes with the inside of your elbow or using a tissue.

° If you use a tissue, throw it out as soon as possible and wash your hands after.

  • Avoid touching your face (eyes, nose and mouth)
  • Stay home unless absolutely necessary (groceries, pharmacy, errands for a vulnerable person)
  • If you are over 70, it is even more important to avoid all public places and stay at home.
