OFFO – Memphrémagog International Storytelling Festival is a major celebration of storytelling, taking place from the 5th to the 16th of June 2024 on the territory of the MRC Memphrémagog. For its second edition, this biennial festival offers in the span of 12 days more than 20 unique performances and experimental storytelling shows in the towns of Orford, Magog, Stanstead, Eastman and Sherbrooke. This major regional event highlights more than 30 renowned artists, as well as emerging talents not only from the Eastern Townships, but from the whole province of Quebec, the United States and Belgium as well. Using the assets of the picturesque territory of Memphrémagog and the innovative talent of Productions Ça commence à quelle heure, OFFO promises a memorable experience to its festival-goers.
For its 2024 edition, OFFO is reinventing itself by becoming a festival on an international scale. In addition, it now covers a large part of the territory of the MRC Memphrémagog, becoming the Memphrémagog International Storytelling Festival.
Coming back with its signature events, OFFO is evolving by adding to its program some bilingual performances reflecting the diversity of its hosting community. A special evening putting Belgium in the spotlight is also part of the schedule. This latter initiative is presented as part of a Belgium-Quebec partnership developed with the help of the MRC Memphrémagog acceleration corridor which promotes exchanges and the transfer of knowledge between Memphrémagog region and Wallonie-Bruxelles. OFFO is now a regional, bilingual, international cultural project, in, by and for the Estrie region.
