Take a look at some of what goes into writing the news with Gordon Lambie, the Associate Editor of The Record. This workshop will offer the chance to explore some of the different forms of writing commonly encountered in traditional print news reporting as well as looking into the processes of information gathering, fact-checking, and revision that go into the work on a daily basis. Inquiry is a key part of journalism, so come with questions in mind, whether they relate to the specific experiences of a community journalist or to broader issues of journalistic ethics and practice.
