Writing Local HistoryThursday, August 19th, 1:30 PM (EST)Download the handout for this workshop. This series of four workshops will look at some of the problems that writers of local history might encounter. Each session will include at least one 10–15-minute writing period. |

August’s workshop will draw attention to the way language changes over time. Participants will be presented with the problem of “translating” old language into current, conversational language. |
